Graphic Design Intern

Blip is an advertising tech company and we work in the digital billboard space. We’re making billboards become more accessible by selling space without contracts and for any size budget (even $20 can get you on a board).
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work 20 hours a week in our Orem office.
  • Your own laptop.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Subscription to Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Desire to improve design capabilities.
Preferred:
  • Graphic design or related major.
  • Previous experience designing at a tech company.

Business Management Intern

Blip is growing fast, and we’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our sign operations team. As an Operations Intern you will be responsible for the initial success of Blip’s sign partners. This is a dynamic role that will require you to work with our operations team in training new sign operators and implementing our software in their inventory. You will also assist in ensuring that our current operators’ needs are met by troubleshooting technical issues, handling support calls and emails, and working on partner success initiatives.

Qualifications:

Public Relations Hacker

Texans describe someone who is all talk and no action as having a big hat with no cattle. At Blip, we’ve been more interested in performing for our customers and partners than in talking big about our capabilities. The PR Hacker will find ways to get the word out about Blip in a variety of compelling and authentic ways using both traditional PR methods and creative PR “hacks”.

Through collaborating with our marketing team, Blip’s leadership team, and our internal graphic design team, the PR Hacker will create content ranging from thought leadership to infographics and press releases, and find the right channels to distribute that content online, at events, or elsewhere.

Latin America Customer Success Representative

As Blip expands into Latin America, we are looking for strong communicators to help onboard and support our Spanish-speaking advertisers and sign owners. This role is a a crucial part of our international business expansion strategy and is a part of our marketplace team. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Speak Spanish with native fluency.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Product Designer

Job Description

As a Product Designer at Blip, you’ll work closely with all departments to identify and flesh out user pain points so that you can conceptualize, design and deliver product and features. Blip is a fast-paced environment bursting with opportunities. Your designs will enhance the customer experience for both our business owners and sign operators.

Objectives of this Role

  • Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various computer software to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals
  • Obtain input from management, ensuring products meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately
  • Examine existing processes, identifying flaws and creating solutions to improve design capabilities

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, internal communication, newsletters
  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality product design
  • Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content
  • Manage the design and uploading process of all project material, understanding best practices for using a content management system
  • Use trend intelligence and an understanding of the current and historical business and market to design and execute specific classifications

Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
  • At least 1-2 years experience (academic and professional) with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
  • Proven experience in design, with a strong portfolio and sketchbook of work
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
